Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast

Sorrento
View of the Sorrento coast from where we were staying

Sorrento was our second stop in Italy after Rome and from the moment we arrived you can tell it was a more laid back vibe. Here tourist seem to spend their days laying by a beach, fine dining, shopping and generally just people watching (while sipping on their beverage of choice). Much different than Rome where the focus is more about running around to the various ancient/religious sites and taking in the history.

Unfortunately, Christine and I got into the laid back spirit as well, so didn’t do much…including taking pictures. Which means this is going to be a very short post due to lack of content, lol. :/ Anyway, enjoy the few photos we did take. 🙂

Piazza Tasso - excellent square right by the Sorrento station to sit and "people watch" :)

You can see Christine on the right with her full travel pack 🙂
Corso Italia - one of the main road in Sorrento...probably the only main road as it's a very small town.
