The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Brace yourselves Potterheads, because The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is everything you’d expect and much much more! You can grab yourself a butterbeer (or for the one’s who’d like a buzz after two or three of them, your choice of beer on tap) and stroll through Diagon Alley while perusing for quiditch gear and school supplies or stop off at Gringotts if you run out of cash. Just make sure you don’t get caught by the fire breathing dragon on your way out!
The park has been completely transformed from what it was a few years ago. There’s now a second location (Hogsmead) located in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. You can travel there by hopping on the Hogwarts Express at Kings Cross, platform 9 3/4. The only catch is that you have to buy a separate ticket in order to visit both Daigon Alley and Hogsmead, which I personally think is a little sneaky on Universal’s behalf, because at a whopping $142USD for a one day adult park to park ticket, it’s a bit of a rip off. With that aside, as a die hard fan of the books and movies, I still had a blast!
Entrance fee for all museums listed above: Regular Adult $102.00; Park to Park Adult $142.00
Duration of visit: I can stay there all day
