L.A. getaway

Los Angeles, the city of angels. Whilst I expect there’s more to L.A. than what we see on TV, when I think of L.A. I think of hollywood movies, roadmaps to celebrity homes, In and Out burger, Pretty Woman, 90210, fish tacos and of course my childhood Malibu Barbie. With only a long weekend to explore and also having been here twice already, we were a bit selective on what we wanted to see…which of course may have also revolved around how best can we avoid the hell that is L.A. traffic.

We started out with a day at the beach. We drove by Malibu, checked out the Santa Monica pier and then strolled down to Venice beach. It’s a nice walk, but even more popular is renting a bike for your trip up and down the coast.

Ate lunch at In-N-Out burger and then headed to a LA Clippers game.

Drove up the PCH to Santa Barbra; visited the Santa Barbra pier and tried a flight of craft beer.
